We manufacture a range of Vacuum Planting Heads in a selection of materials and sizes. Usually brass, stainless steel or lightweight plastics

Planting Heads are used in many laboratories and other test situations to quickly place (Plant) seeds in a tray or on to a paper towel. Typically 100 holes are used although some customers specify more or less holes.

The Plates are usually made from austenitic (non magnetic) stainless or brass drilled or laser cut with holes in the following sizes:

0.4, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 & 1.8mm diameter.

The size of the head and configuration or pattern of holes can be manufactured to a customer’s specification.

The Release Valve applies suction to hold the seeds until in position, simply releasing the button allows the seeds to be positioned.
